Video Project:
PROJECT REFLECTION
How is art used in everyday life?
Art is everywhere; it influences every decision we make in our life. Art is color, patters that make us decide on what we want to wear in the morning what kind of things we find enticing, and bring us into a place of happiness and content.
How and why is art used as a vehicle for communication?
Art is a way to communicate by displaying your own ideas and how you want others to interpret the way the art influences them. How you want to express yourself and the world to see and to spark up feelings in people.
What problem-solving skills are employed in making works of art?
When making art you always run into problems in how you are going to express your way. Then when you are working not always what you envisioned is going to work. Adjusting to plans that we don’t always expect to happen.
What is old, and what is new in any work of art?
Old art is what has been seen for generations painting patterns and techniques. Now all art is now infused with new art by using technology or a Jackson Polic look, this gives more depth to the art pieces meaning.
How does Material Culture influence artistic decisions?
Helps gives your art a meaning in how it is connected to your community or past. It brings context to your art and history; it brings more meaning to your art and adds more clarity to the piece.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In this project, we worked really hard to get a head start on the video over Spring Break. We took a lot of pictures and videos so that we could pick and choose which clips and stills we could/wanted to use. One resource that was especially helpful throughout this project was the rubric. If we didn’t have the rubric, our project would have been very random. It was helpful because all of the things on the rubric were things that help a video to be more engaging. Also, the rubric helped us to be prepared and organized. It helped us figure out what pieces of video to use where, as well as what we needed to include for the transitions to be smooth and for the video to make sense. Overall, the rubric was one of many resources that we used that helped our project to be more clearly organized and smooth.

Political Cartoon Project:
A response to the Film black fish
In my political cartoon I wanted to visualize that the whales are like circus animals. The circus cart represents in mine how they are kept in a small tank for their size and how SeaWorld uses them to make money. Political cartoon is a way for people to give a person a message about how they feel about a certain subject on a serious subject using irony. When I was creating my cartoon I knew I had to have a clear point on this topic, while simultaneously having it being exaggerated in the process. The political cartoon is a way to show your own opinion on how you feel about the subject.
Creating art and viewing are very different to each other because of the person’s interpretation. When you are viewing art you may be seeing something that the artist didn’t. The viewing can also affect you and how you are going to take action. When you are the artist you think of how you want people to see it and your own interpretation of your art. Viewing and creating give you different interpretations on how you feel.

Pre Historic Art History Drawing:
Project Description
When we began this lesson/project we started with a lecture on the beginning of the year humans first recognized themselves and began creating cave art, this help us to understand how to create our own art. Cave art was the way the prehistoric people began to represent themselves and how we are affected by the influence of their art today. This way of self representation help us understand their life back when they still lived, and the creatures their with them. When we began drawing our own representations on the world I had many ideas on how I should display my image. When I came down to it the eye and the hands it made me think about how the people around us influence our perspectives. Cave art was a way for the pre historic people to express their look on the world around them, and how that impacted me to display mine.
After we created our drawings we uploaded them to the computer, to help enhance the drawing we used Adobe Illustrator. One of the skills we used In Illustrator was the trace tool, which was like a drawing filter for art. This influenced me by appearing as a way to change my art and see what else I can do for it to make it eye catching. This technique will benefit me with my future art because it is an outlet for a new approach on displaying my art with new ways to help make it more improved. Adobe Illustrator is a new place where I can take my with the skills I have learned to improve my art and a place for it in the digital world.

Self Portrait:
My self-portrait represents me as being human who has voluntary and in voluntary actions. The color represents how in my mind I can be free and who ever I want to be. Sometimes we have wild ideas that we can’t control, where we are all different in our minds. For my body, which is, black and white represents how I have to look in society, the same. So I used these two variables of myself and used them to create a picture for me.
teacher creature project:
Teacher Creature Reflection:
When we began creating our project we had to watch some Photoshop tutorials to help expand our learning to help our teacher creature projects be better. I started with finding photos that would work for being my teacher and the environment it was going to be in. Then I started adding objects to have an area. Then the hardest parts was adding the eyes and the mouth to the beaver and have it look realistic to create the effect for the project. My favorite part of this project was the freedom to add thing that you wanted in your project and make it your own. This made it so much more enjoyable to be free. What I learned about myself in this project was that even when I don’t think I get something I can use my other abilities and astonish myself. This made me believe in myself even when I had doubts about my choices I made in the creating process.
Photoshop Tutorials:
I warped the tooth to be pointier then rounded
Changed the eye color from a blue green to a blue purple by using using the pen tool to select the part that i wanted to change.
I removed the first two brackets. using the patch tool and clone tool.
Changed her hair color from grey to pink. using the change in hues and erasing the extra color having the opacity at 50%.

Understanding distance with scale & proportion
Proportion and Scale
What I have learned in the few days we have worked on proportion and scale. This helped distinguished the difference between foreground, middle ground, background. First scale and proportion create and illusion on an image to make things farther and closer to where the photo was taken or created. The Foreground is the closest section of the picture where you can see details on the picture. For example when there are multiple shades of things in the front and see there detail. For the middle ground you can still see some shades of color but close to no detail in the photo. The background has the least amount of detail and you can barely see because it is in the back. The defilement between the different attributes of the pictures to make them realistic is extremely important.
When i first started using Photoshop I had to learn many tools. The tools that were most important to use in this project were the quick selection tool, the eraser the select and deselect buttons. All of these tools make creating the project easier to do and less time consuming because I already knew what they were. Another part that I had to use to save the picture as a Photoshop document and a JPEG. Most of the when i need to share a photo it has to be a JPEG because the computer can’t take Photoshop documents. Finally to get these photos we had to get them off of my teachers dp where the were in a zipped folder. For my computer it unzips them automatically, so I just have to download the folder and it will unzip by itself. Photoshop is a tricky site to use, but when you use it correctly it can help you create extravagant photos.

name project:
For our name project we were to go out side and take pictures that we saw had letters in our names.
